Digital Analog

So I recently watched this documentary called "My Kid Could Paint That" about a then 4 year old artist named Marla Olmstead. When it was over, I really wanted to paint, but painting takes up space, it's messy, and paint is expensive, so I did the next best thing - I got a computer program that emulates paint. Here's one of my first creations with Art Rage 2.5...

Fractal Phantasmagoria.

These last couple of weeks I've been seriously exploring Fractal Flames. Here's one of my favorites so far.

Illustration Friday - Clumsy

My red little friend is very clumsy. He appears to have gotten himself stuck in yet another random geometric object once again.

Aerith

Like many from my generation, I have very fond memories of Final Fantasy 7. I made this picture in honor of those memories.

Fun with Photoshop

So I decided to teach myself how to paint portraits in photoshop. Here's one of my first attempts. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Illustration Friday - Confined

It always looks so much better in my head....
